Angel Moroni stands atop many Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The statue is a symbol of John the Revelator's vision where he records, "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth." (Revelations 14:6; Doctrine and Covenants 133:36-37) In his left hand, he holds close to his heart the golden plates, which contain sacred writings known as The Book of Mormon. In his right hand, he holds a trumpet proclaiming to the world the restoration of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. 5" tall and made of durable plastic. Ages 4 and up.
